Looks like we are just getting too many crime gangs attempting to register with our site using either bogus registration or generally trying to muck things up.

That said, we are taking companies.net offline for now. The CMS experiment we have tried over the past few years has yielded interesting data for us and will help in the work we are doing on an internal code project.

And yes, we do have plans for this site, so don't ask.
